Activision, the publisher of Guitar Hero, has confirmed recently that they are getting ready to release DJ Hero. Think Guitar Hero, but no guitar. Instead of rock songs, think pop songs from all decades. And think mash-ups.
No photos have been released of what will sure to be turntables. No news on how many, either. Scheduled for an early to mid-2009 release, Activision is currently trying to secure licenses and rights to use the most popular songs of the last 50-75 years. They've recently partnered with Universal Music Group, so brace yourself for a lot of Fergie.
