What's up with 50?

Remember Jam Master Jay, Tupac, Eazy-E, Big L? I know Jam Master J died the most recent, but my point is that rappers used to really get into some shiz. You'd talk, and chances are very good that it'd escalate into some sort of an attempted murder. What happened to those guys? I'm not condoning killings, but that's how real things were back then.

Don't get me wrong, there's some real gangsters out there- gangsters that handle their business. But they're limited to their local/underground scene (if that, really). Tupac and Biggie was hood like that and still showed up to TRL. This is what I mean whenever you hear me talk about the direction hip hop is moving- overall, for the positive. It's getting more diverse and less violent.

Then there's some rappers out there keeping it real pussy. Like 50. Don't think it bothers me because he's talking about Kanye- because it doesnt. He could be talking about Mystical and I'd feel the same way. It bugs me how he's trying to clown by singing a Kanye track, then crossing his arms on his hips like my mother when I walk into the house with muddy shoes. Then you got Tony Yayo backstage talking (when he gets the chance after pulling his nose out of 50's ass)- but no one ever says anything worth while. Man, I miss Ether. I miss Hit Em Up. I miss Takeover.

What bugs me more is the hoodrat next to the person recording. When the song starts, she goes, "Hell yeah! Kanye! Hell yeah"- then after 50 talks, she's like "F*** Kanye! Hell yeah!" Fair weather rat.
