Days With My Father by Phillip Toledano

Photobucket

Photographer Phillip Toledano creates a photo-essay about his 98 year-old father who is suffering from memory loss. Among the challenges his father faces on a daily basis, one stands out most painful: having to remind him, often several times a day, that his wife is passed. Imaging having to relive the experience of hearing your wife of 50+ years is gone multiple times a day and the toll it takes on everyone around.

Called Days With My Father.

This is powerful stuff.

The navigation on it is pretty gnarly, but put your cursor near the bottom of the photo and click on it.
