Don't you think luxury brands should start manufacturing their products with the same technology as printing cash? Put high-tech stuff in it to prevent counterfeit? We have to save the hipsters from themselves when it comes to sporting fakies.

Louis Vuitton will honor late designer Stephen Sprouse by using his designs in a 2001 collaboration with Marc Jacobs in their 2009 line.

Harper's Bazaar will have a special feature in their January with Mr. Jacobs and a few pieces of the 2009 line. Shot by who else but..... Terry Richardson (again).

Back to my idea about anti-counterfeit technology on luxury goods: this idea came to me after seeing a few preview pieces. Marc Jacobs and company made it ridiculously easy for the bootleggers to replicate this line.
