The story basically boils down to this: a 4 YO boy gets up in the middle of the night, goes downstairs, drinks a beer, breaks the childproof lock on the front door, goes down the block and breaks into the neighbor's house to steal Christmas presents. Kid's father is in jail. And yeah, it said the kid is doing what his "daddy does" to get in trouble to see his father in jail- sweet and sad... but the kid didn't get hurt, so that's why we can all laugh and go back to coffee.
