Daft Punk and Michael Jackson wold have used to be the only live acts I'd pay my life savings to see, but The Knife also really deserves a spot. Don't you hate getting into bands a BIT too late? Just late enough that it'd be impossible to see them live? I've listened to The Knife for over 2 years now, but I never had the idea to look them up on YouTube. That was my killer. And now, I'm devastated.

Check out The Knife doing Heartbeats live. It's a bit a bit pop, electronic, lightweight sadistic and all around amazing. I gotta admit, Karin Andersson's voice is what turned me onto The Knife initially and its creepiness gives way to intrigue. She's like the female version of Antony Hegarty (Hercules & Love Affair edition).

A bit about The Knife: they're a musical duo from Sweden. Hard ass beats, killer vocals, motherfuckin' bad asses. They're what Crytal Castles would be if they had talent and didn't TRY hard to be weird.
