What this means is that it opens up a whole new genre for artists- photography AND video.
Recently, Esquire was the first magazine to publish a spread shot with a video camera, the Red One, for Megan Fox (who, by the way, has toe fingers). They told her to walk around and just do stuff one set while they film her. The photographer then watched the video and would just simply press pause when he thought it'd make a good picture. This will forever change the scene of photography, seriously.
And now, another photographer (Alexx Henry from L.A.) who usually does still movie posters has come up with another original idea that can only be used with the Red One: moving movie posters.
So you've seen those HD screens at your local mall, right? But most of the time, they just alternate still advertisements. Why not show video? So this is exactly what they've set out to do. The first video is "the making of" and the second video is the final result.
Enjoy!
