Minibar is a club that has a self-served bar in Amsterdam. They have open fridges with alcoholic beverages in an assortment of sizes.
Isn't this COOL?!
When you walk in, they give you a bucket with ice and a key to access the refrigerators. The owners are geniuses. In this economy, getting people to party is a bit of a challenge already. This new idea not only saves the owners the cost of hiring waitresses, it gives them an edge over other clubs. When you self-serve anything, you tend to consume more than what's usually served to you (see: Sizzler).
See, guys. Everyone needs to just take a timeless idea (or product), add a hint of architecture and design, a twist, and boom: cash cow.
