I don't know much about Karl Lagerfeld except that he's the brains behind Chanel. But I don't find anyone more fascinating than him (maybe Mr. Obama, but still).
Karl did his own shoot for Chanel's S/S 2009. A lot of post-production work is done here, but it looks great. I find it very impressive how he was able to achieve a black-and-white photo effect using color. He is trying to show off the pieces of the collection, but at the same time, play on the part that it's all pretty much black and white.
