Tiger is back tomorrow

Tiger Woods is back from ACL surgery tomorrow, participating in the Accenture Match Play Championship. You've probably already heard this several times this week, but let me reiterate why it's being covered so much.

You see, Tiger Woods dominates golf in a way no one has ever dominated any sport. There is no one remotely close to being a Tiger in their sport. No team in the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL- you name it. It's been said there's Tiger, and there's the rest of the PGA field. You have dynasties like the Cowboys, Lakers, 49ers. But they don't win consistently throughout their existence. Tiger does. There's literally no chance anyone else can win when this guy is playing. Sergio Garcia and Ernie Els and Anthony Kim are great freakin' players, but their odds of winning this weekend each pays 1:20. Tiger pays 1:3. He just came off 10 months of not playing and reconstructive knee surgery.

While he was gone for 10 months, everyone in the PGA lived "The Good Life". They were on an even playing field with God gone. AND THEY ALL KNOW IT. Which is why this new Nike commercial is so funny. Those are actual PGA players- realizing the good life is over. Tiger's back.
