Not my Chinatown gangster gig, although that is called a "takeover" as well. But rather a a station domination takeover: where one advertiser takes over all the ad space in a subway station. In addition, the stations usually let them put up their own custom kiosks and displays- which is great, but requires custom creative which is YOUNG MOOLAH, BABY (sorry for the Lil Wayne plug).
Anyway, MoMA took up 58 ad spaces in the Atlantic/Pacific Station in Brooklyn and spread the love with pictures of their collections. ISN'T THIS SO BAD ASS!! Kev, go check it out and tell me how it is.

Update: Jeff Tanhueco (friend, stalker) e-mailed me information and links to Julia Hoffmann, the designer behind this station takeover. So go ahead and check out more of the MoMA pics HERE and Hoffmann's portfolio HERE.
