Welcome back, Mr. Eric Jermaine Culp, to free air, homemade food, money, alcohol, and life from the West Side.

For a week now, Eric has been back, reigning terror on all clubs and fragile women in the San Francisco/San Mateo county. He's like Megatron after he got unfrozen. And good for him. Hearing about what he went through the last few weeks, you'd be crazy not to appreciate life.

And it's his new appreciation of life that's inspired him to cross off some things on his "to-do in life" list. #1: pay Calvin for Fantasy Football, #2 watch Bride Wars and #3 get a tattoo. He got a tattoo, then watched Bride Wars.

So the Culp Family Crest has officially begun with Eric. When asked what each quadrant of the crest represents, he explains, "Each corner of the shield is a corner of my life. The club represents my party side. I love to club. The checker board pattern: my game. It's my game that dictates my success at the previous corner. 'E' for me, of course, and the 10 stars: one for each of the most important people in my life." I think the 10th star is reserved for the lady friend who may be asking at the time.

Understandably, he was pretty nervous before the start. When the artist was prepping the station, I told him it's OK to run out the door. He looked me straight in the eye for 10 seconds, considering. But he stayed put. Steve Lam (gentlist/artist) took care of the situation and worked his magic. Nearly 4 hours later, the masterpiece is done. It came out looking REALLY well, and yes, Eric sat through 4 hours. You gotta give him credit for that.

I call this video: "Oh, that's hella cool, blood." Look at his face between 0:03 and 0:05. It's priceless.
