A letter I received from the drummer of Phil and the Osophers:
Hi everyone! just wanted to say hello and see what's good...i've been extremely busy here with work and doing all the cool things you think i do (sit at home and watch movies, eat food, read a book)...and those are some fun things! who doesn't enjoy eating food? i've been writing some and should have a new collection of stories and poems out relatively soon (probably within the next 10 years or so)...guess what? i'm listening to frank sinatra right now! and speaking of music, i've been playing drums in a band called Phil and the Osophers....we've been getting busy playing shows in Philadelphia and Boston, as well as around the city (we just recently played the CMJ festival which is new york's version of SXSW)....i believe we'll be playing a show in san francisco around christmas time so it would be a good chance for you to say hello and listen to some music, maybe have a drink or 5.....we're in the process of adding a bass player to our band to fill out the sound during live shows....
Phil and the Osophers just put out, via a boutique Brooklyn record label called Factual Fabrications, our fifth album. It's called Toward Conquering The Invisible North. The album is arranged as a five generation family tree.
I'd really like you to just go and buy one.
Is it too much to ask you flat out?
It's only 8 bucks and it's a gem.
