It was the last leg of my concert tour this week. No Top 10 here. Just a Top 1 that accumulated all the cool stuff I've seen the last few days.
That Top 1 is in the video below. There is nothing more awesome than to hear Soulwax remix Robot Rock (top 3 Daft songs of all time) into Phantom 2 (favorite Justice song of all time). And no, that really is not me yelling. And yes, please just listen to it for the audio. The place virtually erupted and I was dancing and watching for the well being of my own life at the same time. I know Eric, of all people, would appreciate this. Check out the drummer at 1:40.
A few other notes: the drummer for Soulwax is off the hook. Not better than the one from Lymbyc Systym I posted two days ago, but on a different level. You can kinda see him get into it in the video below, but some stupid lady working there shut off my camera. Trust me, he started going AT it after I turned it off. Figures.
Not all great experiences end well. Someone took a crucial fall and split her head open. Paramedics had to come.
After the concert, Eric and I had quite an experience trying to escape the fuzz. See, Eric needed to go. And he went. He was drunk off his ass- couldn't even walk straight, but when the po's came, dude pulled a Batman. For real. Even I couldn't find him. We regrouped 30 minutes later and were in the clear. Eric + street crossing when drunk = too much to handle.
