When people claim they had spoken with God, I don't really think there were actual words involved like a real conversation. Instead, I think it is an exchange of an understanding. And it is this sudden, clear understanding that people find as a "spiritual awakening".
I had a spiritual awakening last night. Not with God in church, but with Justice at Treasure Island. It was the first time in my 26-year career when I felt I had a "higher" connection to music. I can't go too far in describing what it meant and how it felt because, frankly, it'd be a waste of time. You won't be able to feel what I experienced- especially through a blog. I just wanted to share with you the fact that I had one. I didn't do the following, but now, I finally understand why fans do crazy things like faint and rush the stage (see any Michael Jackson performance in 1982-84).
The peak of this "awakening" occured about 2 minutes into the video above. Then again at about 5:40. We were lucky enough to experience a very limited live production of Phantom III. The audio is incredible with my point-and-shoot. Take more video, fellas.
