Milk trailer- CONGRATS TO DOM!

One of my best friends, Dominic Sahagun, had a speaking role in the shooting of Milk, the new Sean Penn movie about Harvey Milk: the world's first openly gay politician. The trailer has been released, and this thing will be a straight buzz machine until it comes out. Let's give this guy some golf claps.

A bit on Dom: born March 5, 1982 in San Francisco, CA. Being mostly an ass and a class clown (someone I call an ass-clown) throughout the grade of 12, he knew that singing and acting was what he was born to do. It really all started with an eighth grade play, actually. This was at around the same time he knew he wasn't going to be playing major league baseball. Acting was also attractive given his perverted nature. See, Dom was one of the very few heterosexual guys in an acting company. And we all know what kind of girls were in acting companies....

Voice lessons, piano lessons, and a cheap guitar was all he needed to land at the Boston Conservatory where our phone conversations went a little something like this for about four years:

Calvin: Dude, I'm having a really hard time in multi-vector calculus, man. I think I might fail, dude.

Dom: Totally feelin' you, bro. I can't keep up with Introduction to Ballet.

He graduated alongside the likes of Constantine Maroulis (runner up to Season 3 of American Idol), Katharine McPhee (runner up to Season 5 of American Idol), and a handful of off-Broadway chorus members.

After graduation, Dom moved to the Big Apple. There, he continued his training in order to pursue a career in live theater. Little did he know, however, that he'd hone in other tremendous skills such as carrying extremely hot and delicious entrees to eager patrons.

Briefly teased by an opportunity to become a maitre d at a prestigious Las Vegas restaurant, Dom is now currently preparing for a trip to backpack through Europe with what he calls a "hot young mama".

Congrats again, Dom Sahagun, for a job well done. Can't wait to see the movie, man.

UPDATE: totally spelled "role" with "roll"- FRUCK!
