In a nutshell: Jay-Z was the first hip-hop artist to headline the Glastonbury Festival. The tradition behind the Glastonbury Festival is more so guitar-heavy and non-hip hop'd. Noel Gallagher, lead singer of Manchester-based Oasis, was pissed at the fact that Jay-Z was to headline.
